Vendor Spotlight {Austin Phonograph Company}

The Bee's Knees of Vintage Events, Austin Phonograph Company specializes in providing vintage hand cranked phonograph record players from the early 1900s at your event.  All music is played on non electric phonographs in 78RPM record format.  The music available ranges from 1920s hot jazz to Classical to Texas Swing. Two expert audio operators dressed in vintage elegance from the 1930's crank the records, and demonstrate the machines to curious patrons. Enjoy the tunes as the operators change the needles, flip the records, and crank the machines.

Austin Phonograph Company provides their services for all sorts of parities and events.  From private parties, weddings and corporate events to dances.  Thinking out the box, Austin Phonograph Company even does educational presentations, gallery openings and happy hours.  All of your guests will remember your keenest event ever with Austin Phonograph Company's vintage audio elegance.

Wedding Trend {Vintage}

Vintage is a huge wedding trend this year & it's easy to see why with it's simple, soft, and elegant feel. Vintage is really another word for Antique; so it's about bringing in an older style & using it in a modern way. Items such as lace, ribbon, brooches, colorful antique glass vases, & soft floral arrangements are perfect for this style. The best part of vintage is that you can really insert your own personality as well as family history with personal items from grandparents & other relatives. It's a very DIY budget friendly trend as well because you can collect items from thrift stores, family members, & even retail stores (such as IKEA) who are now starting to caterer to this new trend. Vintage has a very electric vibe which means it's not a matchy matchy style, so you can get away with anything & really let your creativity run wild. Here are a few examples of this beautiful new trend....

Engagement {Christi & Cody}

I had the pleasure of working with Christi & Cody on their vintage themed wedding. It was truly beautiful & unique. The couple chose to take their engagement pictures in downtown Bryan, Tx; where their wedding also took place. Their engagement photos also went along with their vintage theme, check them out below. This is a great way to share your theme with your guests and give them a sneak peak at what they can expect.
