Inspiration {Vineyard Wedding Style}

Texas wineries are quickly becoming a popular wedding destination for many couples, and with their beautiful countryside backdrops it’s easy to see why. Purple is one of the more common color choices for vineyard weddings, but why not think outside the box. Earthy colors such as yellow, green, orange, and brown can be a beautiful alternative. And who says wineries are only for spring or summer wedding; fall can produce some stunning colors of it’s own to compliment your earthy color scheme. The best part about choosing a winery for your wedding is the flexibility. Wineries are like a good pair of dark jeans, you can dress them up or down. So if you’re a jeans and heels girls think about bringing in some outdoor chandeliers, rich luxurious linens, and having candlelight be your main form of lighting. If you’re more of a jeans and boots girl go for a more rustic feel by using more natural elements such as round log stumps to hold your cakes, wildflowers or sunflowers for centerpieces, and light natural linens. Take advantage of the winery surroundings such as using wine bottles to hold flowers or candles, wine barrels for a bar or to hold food, or corks as place holders. Wineries are a beautiful blank canvases waiting for you to paint your unique story. Bring in the elements you love and think outside the box. Here are some pictures to help inspire you!

Yellow is so crisp and happy - you can't help but smile when you see this color and it especially looks stunning at outdoor weddings.

This is a great example of how to bring the outdoors inside. The use of the earthy brown, yellow, and green colors give a more outdoors feel and I love the branches in the centerpieces.

Another fun wedding cake, it reminds me of large cheese rinds -a perfect compliment to wine. This too is from a local bakery, Sweet Tempered.
